Don’t let your friends and family block your success

When you decide to branch and create your own business, it scares the heck out of those close to you. Often, they aren't entrepreneurial-minded and just can't see why you wouldn't take a nice safe job with benefits and two weeks vacation each year. Being your own boss just isn't right for everyone. Often your friends and family will inadvertently say things that will rattle your confidence and your resolve. Others won't believe you are capable of building a business; those will subtly (and sometimes not too subtly) try to discourage you from moving forward. Still, others will have more sinister (and selfish) reasons for undermining your efforts. In today's episode, we focus on the absolute necessity of building your own conviction and shutting out those voices if you hope to be a successful entrepreneur.
